Red Rum – The most famous of the Grand National previous winners. Rummy won the race in 1973, 1974, was twice 2nd in 1975 and 1976. Pictured: Red Rum winning for a record 3rd time in 1977 with jockey Tommy Stack.

The Grand National has lots of famous winners in its history. Who could forget Devon Loch’s loss to ESB, Foinavon or Bob Champion’s ride on Aldaniti in 1981. The Grand National previous winners will go down in history as the best in the world of racing.
