Weight of previous Grand National winners
Although the likes of Tiger Roll and Many Clouds have tasted Grand National victory carrying over 11 stones, the weight of previous Grand National winners remains one of the most important trends when analysing past results. Seven of the last nine winners came home under the 11 stones mark, and between 1989 and 2004 not one winner was saddled with more than that weight. Here are the more recent weights of previous Grand National winners, ordered by their weight.
- 11-09 Many Clouds (2015)
- 11-06 Neptunes Collonges (2012)
